Autumn Foraging, Wild Medicine & Folklore Walk, Lavenham Sunday 19th October
Join me in the beautiful medieval village of Lavenham, Suffolk, for one of my foraging, wild medicine, and folklore walks.
Together, we will explore the art of foraging, not only for food and medicine but as a sacred act of nature connection. We will learn how to foster a deeper relationship with the land, cultivating our ability to identify and communicate with wild plants. This practice is a vital part of returning to our natural selves and rediscovering the wisdom that plants offer us.
Each walk begins with the burning of herbs or the misting of botanical blends, setting the space in reverence for the plants, followed by an offering of my handmade flower essences to deepen our connection with plant spirits. As we walk, we send our intentions to the plant beings, asking for their permission to learn from their wisdom.
This walk takes place on Sunday, 19th October 2025, starting at 11am, and will last between two and three hours.
Upon booking, you will receive an email confirmation. As the date approaches, I’ll send the exact meeting point details.
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring water if it’s a warm day. You may wish to bring a notebook and pen to record insights or simply allow the voices of nature to speak to you.
Children are welcome to join for free, just let me know if you plan to bring any. Dogs are also welcome, but please inform me beforehand.
The walk is mostly flat and gentle, but if you have any questions about its suitability for your level of fitness or health, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
If you would prefer to pay in cash on the day, please email me directly to reserve your space. Feel free to reach out with any questions at info@wildfolkapothecary.com.
