Autumn Foraging, Wild Medicine & Folklore Walk, Lavenham Sunday 7th September

£25.00

Join me in the charming medieval village of Lavenham in Suffolk for one of my popular foraging, wild medicine, and folklore walks.

On this walk, we’ll explore the art of foraging as a living act of nature connection. Together, we’ll discover the plants that grow around us, learning how to identify them, communicate with them, and understand their gifts. By deepening our relationship with the plant beings, we reconnect with the earth and begin our journey back to a more natural, grounded self.

As we walk, we’ll encounter seasonal plants such as elderberry, which offers her cooling, soothing gifts, and mugwort in her autumn clothes, who is often associated with dreams and intuition. You might find hawthorn berries beginning to ripen, offering their heart-opening medicine, or the vibrant greens of nettles in seed, full of life-force and nourishment. Each plant has its own story to tell, and we’ll invite them to share their wisdom with us.

Each walk begins with a simple ritual of burning herbs or saining with a mist to set the space and an offering of my handmade flower essences to deepen your connection with the plant spirits. We’ll send our intentions to the plant beings, asking for their permission to learn from them.

This walk takes place on Sunday 7th September 2025, starting at 11am and lasting between two and three hours.

Upon booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email. As the date approaches, I’ll send you details of the exact meeting point.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring water if it’s warm. You may wish to bring a notebook and pen to record your thoughts, or simply open your senses and listen to the voices of nature.

Children are welcome to join for free but please let me know if you plan to bring any. Dogs are also welcome with prior notice.

The walk is gentle and mostly flat, but please get in touch if you have any concerns about its suitability for your level of fitness or health.

If you prefer to pay in cash on the day, please email me directly to reserve your space. Feel free to reach out with any questions at info@wildfolkapothecary.com.
