Saining, or the intentional act of purification and awakening, is an important folk practice which helps us to live in alignment with the proper order of things.

This ancient practice helps to remove negative influences from the object of purification.

To sain an object, being, or space is to awaken it to purpose, to bless and purify it and to make it sacred.

This saining mist is made with sacred waters gathered from source at a natural spring. The water is then infused with sea salt, sea stones, and hand-mined quartz in bright sunlight. Lavender flowers and bay are added to the infusion, as are essential oils and a potentised nettle flower and flint essence. This mist smells ethereal and invokes the cleansing properties of the potent and powerful ocean. The sea stones infused in this mist are from both the south-west coast of Ireland and the coast of East Anglia.

Ingredients; pure spring water gathered by hand from source, rock sea salt, foraged herb salt, nettle and flint essence, bay leaf, lavender flowers. Essential oils of mugwort, rosemary, lemon, violet, rose geranium & yarrow. Infused in sunlight, with hand-mined quartz and sea stones.

To use; Spray around spaces, objects, or your body to awaken to purpose; to make sacred. As you spray ask the herbs, stones, and elements to awaken to your purpose and support your intentions. Give thanks.

All of my creations are made within sacred space in deep reverence and connection. I give thanks to the herbs and communicate with them about what I am making and my intentions.
