Becca Rose - November 20th 7pm

from £17.50

Our second Lanternlight Session will be with the wonderfully-talented singer-songwriter Becca Rose.

Suffolk-based Becca, a familiar face (and voice) at festivals such as the Cambridge Folk Festival, Latitude and Sundown, will be bringing her heartfelt music into this 500 year old setting, a blend of folk, soul and blues, delivered with an astonishingly beautiful voice, this November. It promises to be an unforgettable evening.

Becca Rose is a Suffolk-based singer-songwriter crafting sounds rooted in folk tradition with a bluesy, soulful edge. Her poetic songs explore ancestry, identity, and the stories that shape us, woven within guitar, harmonium and her distinctive vocals. Alongside her original material, she brings a fresh, emotive twist to reimagined classics. With exciting projects of new releases on the near horizon, Becca Rose is an intimate and captivating live act not to be missed.

“There’s a natural emotional depth in her delivery that feels both intimate and expansive, as if each lyric is lived rather than performed.”

Becca will be taking to the stage at the Lanternlight Sessions in Lavenham’s historic guildhall on the 20th of November at 7pm.

The Aegean Kitchen at The Great House, Lavenham, just a stone’s throw across the market place from the Guildhall, is offering a two course pre-show menu of Turkish and Greek cuisine to concert-goers. Available from 5pm on show night, simply select ‘Concert & Dining’ from the drop down menu.
